Authentic, Small-Group Travel
We can have anywhere between 4 and 16 walkers on a standard departure, it varies from tour to tour, as well as the time of travel. Here at Walking Legends we do whatever we can to make sure our tours go ahead. We review our group numbers frequently, so if a group size looks like it’s not going to reach a viable size, we’ll contact you as soon as we can to help choose the next best departure date. We can proceed with a group that doesn’t meet our usual minimum group size, but a small group surcharge may apply.
Can You Cater For Large Groups?
On the Coromandel Explorer guided walk we can host large groups. The maximum capacity of our accommodation is around 16 guests, depending on how many rooms are shared. Do You Offer Private Departures?
Yes, we offer private departures. If you’d like to have a date set aside for your party that isn’t shared with walkers that you don’t know, we can help with that. The Coromandel Explorer is one of our most popular North Island guided walking holidays, so it does pay to get in touch with us 9 to 12 months in advance to get a great, private date locked in.
