Accommodation

On the 8-day Bucket List Walk we stay in boutique ensuite accommodation just outside of Coromandel township for the first 3 nights, in a peaceful slice of native bushland. On night 4, we return to Rotorua where you’ll stay in a beautiful local hotel, in an ensuite room. For the Tongariro leg, we’ll spend our last 3 nights in a vibrant hikers and skiers lodge in the heart of National Park Village with excellent views of the volcanic massif.

What Are The Rooms Like?

The Coromandel is known for it’s artistic, alternative, bohemian nature. You’ll have a beautiful hand-hewn timber cabin full of natural features connected to shared spaces via timber boardwalks. There are twin, double and triple studio cabins and every room has an ensuite bathroom. Not all rooms are the same, so if you’ve got specific room requirements, please get in touch with our friendly reservations team to select the best room for your needs. Accommodation is based on twin share, so if you’d like to have your own room please select the single supplement option in the booking form.

The Tongariro National Park is a hikers and skiers mecca. We’ll stay in National Park Village, a small settlement that hums with adventure. Rooms are a generous size with heating, small fridges, a television and a compact ensuite bathroom. There are excellent shared spaces to sit and chat to other guests, including an on-site bar.

Do The Lodges Have Wi-fi?

The lodge has wi-fi available in your room, which at peak times can be slow so make sure you’ve got any important documents or files downloaded to your device before you arrive.
