When you book, you’ll receive a full itinerary and a packing list with our gear recommendations.
For the Lake Waikaremoana Guided Walk we transport all your gear from hut to hut in our support boat where there is access, so suitcases and duffel bags are welcome – all you carry is a day pack for your lunch, water and warm, outer layers.
Our luggage trailer is not completely dust-proof, so during the dry summer months dust can settle on the outside of luggage during the trip out to the Lake. If you can, it’s best to bring luggage that is fairly robust.
We can lend you one of our complimentary 40 litre hiking packs for the tour – just let us know you need one when you fill in the online booking form.
